MEMORIES OF ASHES.
In a megacity flooded with neon and glass towers, humanity clings to the illusion of endless progress. Lian, an analyst of emotional anomalies, begins an investigation. Some citizens are haunted by memories of lives they have never lived. As these fragments accumulate, a forgotten collective memory struggles to surface.
The deeper Lian ventures into this labyrinth of recollections, the more she senses that these memories are not simple anomalies. They are waiting for the moment to awaken. Faced with the choice to suppress them or let them rise, she realizes that this shared memory is like an ember. Left unchecked, it could ignite and consume the entire city.
Caught between an order shaped by artificial intelligence and the return of a buried humanity, Lian must decide what kind of future will emerge from the haze.
The film itself mirrors this tension between realities. It combines real footage with sequences generated through artificial intelligence, blending captured images with synthetic visions. The result is a shifting visual landscape, hovering between memory, simulation, and dream.
